The Society of Leather Technologists and Chemists (SLTC) is set to host its 127th International Conference in Glasgow, Scotland, where Leather Working Group’s Director of Communications will be giving a presentation called Raising The Bar: Setting New Standards In A Shifting Landscape of Regulation, Science and Consumer Expectations. Taking place on April 26 at the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel, the event will bring together industry leaders, researchers and professionals to explore the latest advancements and innovations in leather science and technology. The keynote Atkin Memorial Lecture, titled Behind The Craft: The Role Of Technology In The Future Of Leather, will be delivered by Dr Kerry Senior, Director of Leather UK and Secretary of the International Council of Tanners.
