He has a masters’ degree in leather technology and a certificate in strategic business management, He has worked in the leather industry for over 35 years in Europe, South East Asia and Africa at different executive levels.
Eric’s extensive technical and production experience covers the full range of bovine production in 3 different tanneries, wastewater treatment plant management and leather casing for car interior parts. More recently he took part as a pioneer to the setup from scratch of an exotic (crocodilian) leather manufacture in Asia and run it for 10 years as site and production director.
As a consultant at CTC Lyon - France, he conducted multiple tannery audits (upgrade – organisation - production flow) and technical trainings for tanneries.
With many years of hands-on experience in China and other Asian and African countries, Eric has led initiatives in the implementation of clean technologies and the promotion of green - safer leather chemicals as technical support for 2 German leather auxiliaries companies. Furthermore he has set up 2 environmental management sytems (EMS) and successfully prepared 3 LWG audits (LMAP)
Eric‘s mother language is French and can conduct audits in English, German and French. Italian is still in progress!
