Alisson Granemann de Medeiros has a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Chemistry and holds a Master's Degree in Process Engineering, combined with Production Engineering degree graduation, He has qualifications in Environmental Management, Leather Technology and has worked in the Leather Industry for several years.
He has successfully run his own consultancy company NATUR EKO CONSULT LTDA since 2021, and since then, has worked with Process Engineering and Sustainability in the Leather chain and Auditor Consultant in Latin America.
Experienced quality management professional with a strong background in the leather industry, specializing in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, as well as ISO 14001 Lead Auditing. Skilled in conducting product and process audits with expertise in leather tanning processes, including Wet Blue and Wet White, retanning, and finishing for a variety of applications in automotive, furniture, footwear and leather goods. Extensive knowledge of drying processes and wastewater treatment (WWTP) involving physical, chemical, and biological (activated sludge) methods, supporting environmental compliance and sustainability.
Proficient in microbiological standards for fungi and bacteria control within tanneries and demonstrated success in managing tannery operations, from Wet Blue to Crust production, and leading projects focused on product and process improvements. Skilled in applying statistical methods to optimize the tanning and retanning processes, driving quality and efficiency across production.
In recent years, Alisson Granemann has been involved in the development of traceability for the leather supply chain, clean processes and new technologies for leather production, tannery management and leather assessments.
